| From Hank To Vidar | NRK's radio show "Cowboy & Indianer" releases it's first CD today, containing live recordings from among others Vidar.
The first track on the album is Vidar doing Hank Williams' "Weary blues from waiting". The song was recorded at NRK in Fredrikstad in 2002.

| 1 down, 3 to go | Norwegian Wood this weekend was a blast! 4000 people inside the arena when we went on stage, and in the end they were all clapping and singing. It was such fun playing with Erland Dahlen (drums) and Bjørn Holm (bass) again. This was the only festival I will do with a full band this summer, from now on it's a trio of me, Mikael Lindqvist (piano/organ) and Lise Sørensen (violin).

| Norwegian Wood | It's now confirmed that I will play the Norwegian Wood festival in Oslo June 18th, together with Martha Wainwright, Minor Majority, Maria Mena, Mew and Kent.
This will be one of a few festivals where I will bring along other musicians, and this day the whole line-up from the album recording sessions will come along. It should be a good one!

| 10 songs done! | I'm extremely happy to say that I'm now done with 10 songs for my new album. It was recorded a month ago, and was mixed last week at Supermono studio in Oslo.

| Update from the studio | Hi!
2 days in the studio. 9 songs done, and it's rolling!
I guess by the end of tomorrow all the songs have found their shape. We're basically recording the songs 'live'. All our focus is on performance and wibe, and the guys and Lise really know how to make these songs come alive.

| Baderock | Baderock on Friday will be my last festival this summer. I'm on at 1745, followed by Magnet, Madrugada and Turbonegro. It should be a good day for music, beer and fun.
I'm also starting to gather musicians for my next record, and I'll update you as soon as something is confirmed. Expect a record early next year.

| Various news | Stavern on Friday was a good one! The rain stopped in time for the festival to start, and I kicked it off. My friends in Madrugada also played there, which gave us a chance to re-introduce 'Rider Bangs' on falsetto voice in their set... Always a pleasure.

| Stavern coming up | Træna... what can I say. A 4 hour boatride, bright nights and 2500 people in a 'Northern party mood'. It was great! Anyone who has the chance, you should visit paradise up north...
Stavernfestivalen on Friday is my next gig. I'm opening the festival at 1500, and I really look forward to it!

| Træna next! | The concerts at Liland Brygger and Festspillene i Harstad went great! Full house and a great atmosphere both places. There are reviews in the papers today, but they can not be found on the internet. One says "Star of the night shift", and gives the show in Harstad 5 stars out of 6.

It's a rainy night in oslo and I'm rehearsing my set for tomorrow in Fredrikstad. I'm playing a festival called 'Månefestivalen' there, a festival I also played two years ago. It has great vibe, being located in an old industrial area by the river. I'm playing a 45 min acoustic set, introducing many new songs for the first time.
